Noor Chabbewal is a passionate and dedicated mental health resident in counseling with a comprehensive background in psychology and clinical work. She recently graduated from Pepperdine University's Graduate School of Education and Psychology (GSEP) with a Master's in Clinical Psychology, emphasizing Marriage and Family Therapy. Prior to her graduate studies, Noor earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from George Mason University.
Noor has gained valuable experience through a psychology internship in Fairfax, Virginia, where she provided therapeutic support to children, adolescents, adults, and families. She is highly passionate about serving individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other mental health issues. Noor primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic modalities to help her clients navigate their mental health challenges.
Her approach to counseling involves creating individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each client. Noor is committed to fostering a supportive and empathetic environment, encouraging clients to explore their emotions and develop effective coping strategies. She also emphasizes the importance of involving families in the therapeutic process, recognizing the crucial role they play in her client's well-being.
